Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 21, 2026

This Cookie Policy describes the use of cookies and similar technologies on the website www.from9to10.com.

This notice supplements from9to10’s Privacy Policy and provides specific information on the technologies used while browsing the site.

2. What are cookies 🍪

Let’s start with the good news: these cookies won’t make you gain weight.

The less exciting news is that we still need to explain what they are. And since even a Cookie Policy deserves a bit of attention, let’s try to do it without turning it into twenty lines of legal jargon.

In short: some cookies simply make the site work properly, others help us understand how it’s used and improve it. The ones that require your consent, on the other hand, are used only if you tell us it’s okay.

Technically, cookies are small text files that a website can store on a user’s device while browsing.

They can be used, for example, to keep a session active, remember a preference, store the selected language, or collect statistical information on how the site is used.

There are also technologies that perform functions similar to cookies, such as local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, and other online identifiers. For simplicity, in this notice we use the term “cookies” to refer to these technologies as well, when there is no need to distinguish between them.

In the following sections you’ll find which tools we use, what they’re for, how long they last, and, above all, which ones you can choose to accept or reject.

3. Types of cookies used

3.1. Technical and functional cookies

These cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of the site or to provide a feature requested by the user.

They may be used, for example, to:

  • ensure the security of the site;
  • manage sessions;
  • remember language preferences;
  • store preferences expressed through the cookie banner;
  • enable the proper functioning of WordPress and its related components.

These cookies may be used without the user’s consent within the limits set by applicable law.

3.2. Statistical and analytics cookies

These cookies are used to understand how the site is used, measure traffic, analyze visited pages, and improve content, performance, and the browsing experience.

from9to10 uses tools such as Google Analytics, Matomo, and Microsoft Clarity for this purpose.

When such tools use cookies or other technologies that require consent under applicable law, they are activated only after the user has given their consent.

3.3. Marketing or tracking cookies

Marketing or tracking cookies make it possible to follow the user’s behavior over time or across different sites and services for advertising, profiling, or similar purposes.

If from9to10 uses technologies belonging to this category, they are activated only after the user has given their consent.

The site may use Google Fonts and Font Awesome to display typographic fonts and icons.

Where these resources are loaded directly from the relevant providers’ servers, the browser may transmit technical information, including the IP address, necessary for delivering the resource.

When, on the other hand, fonts and icons are hosted locally on from9to10’s infrastructure, their display does not involve any transmission of data to the relevant provider.

13. Technologies and data present only in the administrative area

During technical scans of the site, cookies, local storage or other identifiers generated by WordPress, the site editor and related plugins may be detected.

Some of these elements, such as editor settings, administrative preferences or identifiers associated with content management tools, are used exclusively in the administrative area by authorized users.

15. Mixpost and social network connections

from9to10 uses Mixpost in a self-hosted mode for the platform’s features related to the management and publication of content on social networks.

Mixpost is not used as a tool to track visitors to the from9to10.com website and, merely by being used as a component of the platform, does not result in the installation of marketing cookies on visitors’ browsers.

The ways in which from9to10 processes data relating to social accounts, authorization tokens and content are described in the Privacy Policy.

Consent can be withdrawn at any time as easily as it was given, using the consent management tool available on the site.

17. How to change or withdraw consent

The user can change their cookie preferences at any time by reopening the consent management panel on the site.

Disabling certain technical cookies may, however, compromise the proper functioning of some of the site’s features.

The ways of managing cookies depend on the browser used and are described in the relevant documentation.
